Wonder as I Wander

Today, as everyday I park about six blocks from where I work and walk or rollerblade in. Being the variety is the spice of life believer that I am lately I've been parking in different spots around the campus in my search to find the ultimate parking spot. Well... I parked. I walked. I worked. Iwalked. I got a starbucks. I walked. There was no garbage can. I walked. I had to use the washroom. I walked. I got to University boulevard and Blanca and realized I parked on 16th. So I kept walking. I drove around the University that night just so I could clock how far I walked. It was about 2.5 Km that morning and 3.5Km that night. My night of mishaps doesn't stop there. I continued on my drive home. I decided to pick up some dinner from a local Pho place. I realize I have no cash and they don't take debit. There goes that Idea. So I continue on I stop at London Drugs to pick up some photos I ordered online. But there are two stores on Kingsway and I sent them to the farther one. So I went home I ate some leftovers and I sat on my couch safe for the rest of the night.

Sunday Fog

I guess I'm a morning blogger... I love Sunday mornings when you can wake up with out the alarm and make whatever you want for breakfast. I love breakfast but mostly I like breakfast for lunch or dinner. Call me crazy but it is true.
So I guess I should introduce myself. Well I would describe myself as a country album... "Modern Day Drifter" I strive for constance in my life but when it comes down to it my need for change drives me. Since highschool I've lived in 9 different houses some for a month and some I lasted a year. My family has taken the brunt of my moves. I'm either soliciting their help to once again move my sleigh bed and comfy chair or I'm crashing on their floor and eating their food. I'm very content to be the baby of the family so I can mooch off their established lives. I just turned 24 hence the title of my blog. I like it, being 24 that is but, next year will be the quarter life crisis for sure. I am a new resident of Burnaby. Getting used to the sights and sounds of a big city have been interesting. Waking up at 2:00am because I hear someone knocking on my door probably a figment of my imagination. Or almost getting run over by the intense Vancouver drivers (in my car I might add!) Or trying to understand the person behind the counter at a coffee shop with a thick English acent speeking at turbo speed. All so fun and new. I'm looking forward to this year of being 24 who knows what is around the corner. I like surprises so here I come.
