Wet
Well, today I walked to work in my little brown skirt stockings and flat dress shoes. Little did I know it was going to pour cats and dogs on my walk home. I was soaked. I think the inside of my shoes where as wet as the bottoms. Gotta love Vancouver. Actually, I do! It was still warm out even though it was pouring and I could see some fog almost burnt off in the distance. My hair doesn't like it here though, now matter what I put in it or so to it as soon as I step out my door it is frizzy. Oh well, such is life. I guess if I want good hair I'll have to move back to the interior to use my hot rollers again.

My TWENTYFOURTH Birthday
Yes, It is true I'm twentyfour and this picture proves it! This is Reisha, Becky and I at Foggy Dew Pub in Coqulitlam. We ate. We danced. We had cake. The perfect party! Not everyone is in this picture... Glen and Bri were there along with Gene and Ben too. Pretty fun to have my first birthday in Vancouver.

Public Transportation
Ahh... my first morning I took the bus to work. I thought I would "try it." Well, I woke up in due time to catch the bus secretly hoping that I would sleep in and have to drive my car. I dressed warm and not too stylish (to fit in with the crowd) and walked down to the stop. It was a chilly morning so I was grateful to hear the bus coming around the corner. When I got on there were only two other people on so it was easy enough to find a seat, alone. Soon the bus was full and the coughing started. I instantly felt like I had lice crawling through my hair and B.O. particles in my nose. I got my novel out and started to read I actually got two chapters read. Then the motion sickness started in. I think from all the stopping and starting. All and all it was a good experience. It was mostly my fear of getting on the wrong bus and getting lost, and the germ paranoia that kept me off the public transit system but now if I ever need to take the bus I know the #25 will get me there safe and slightly unsound.
