Green Grass

Ahhh... gotta love spring time! Walking to work today there was the aroma of fresh cut grass. I love that smell. I'm sure it wouldn't go far in a department store but outside on a crisp morning it was just right. Spring and fall are offically my favorite seasons. I love the newness of spring and the colours of fall. It is so funny how spring comes around and there are all these new babies at church and my sister-in-law is getting ready to pop. I'm glad life has seasons. I would never want to live in a place without four seasons. Well maybe for a short period of time who am I kidding. Seriously though it is good to have the changes of life and seasons that go along with them too!

Turning Thirty

On the 15th my oldest brother turned 30. I'm so glad they have to do everything first. He has definitley paved the way in my life. We flew him down for a guys weekend full of live music, golf, hockey and a birthday party of course. He is one of those people that whatever age he is he will always know what is stylin' and new. Here is to you Greg, you make thirty look like a darn good time.

Happy St. Paddys' Day

Yep, it is official St. Paddys' day was celebrated. I went downtown... it was crazy! We wanted to go to an Irish Pub of course but... the line ups were out of this world. A good time was still had though there was 5 of us friends from work. We all wore white tops with green garlands and matching green garters! We stopped for a burger on the way home... it never tasted so good.

Full Moon

Just so you know I heard on the radio that "water signs" like myself, are effected my the moon more than the other zodiac signs... hense my bad day yesterday! I'm not sure I believe in all that zodiac stuff but I like the idea that my crazy days can be caused by something beyond my control. Therefore it is okay to be absolutely nuts when it is a full moon. ahhh I'm gonna milk it for all it is worth.

Nothing like friends starting their own blogs to make my day. Amy and Becky welcome to the blogging world! I can't wait to keep up with you on the web.
Today I had a presentation at work... I really enjoyed it. I was just going over some basics with some staff but it was fun. I thought I would be nervous but it never came over me at all. I guess I felt confident in my knowledge of the subject... It made me think about teaching Dental Assisting. It has been something I've wanted to do since I took the CDA program at OUC. I checked two colleges down here and they are both hiring right now... I 'll just have to see what happens. My contrat is done at UBC in May so who knows what will happen. I doubt if I'll get in to it now but It is fun to be looking into things. I'm sure God has it all figured out one way or another.
I may not be posting any photos for a while... My computer kinda broken right now but I'll try and get it fixed soon.

Grumpy

Ever have one of those days?... I'm usually pretty cheery and upbeat even on Monday morning but not today. It is not like it was a bad a day at work or anything. It was fine. It was just me that felt like Shit all day. I guess maybe I'm tired... or maybe PMS or BOTH! I'm just glad I feel good most of the time and take it for granted. Take this as a warning for those of you who have to work with me or see me this week. I'll do my best to get a good sleep tonight and hopefully I'll be back at my regular attitude soon. Now... I don't want to post this... because it is not the most flattering... but... You must be warned! So this ones for YOU.

I'm Home

I made it... I survived a weekend of being jumped on and tickled and playing lego and sledding and so much more with my nephews in Calgary. I even managed to meet up with Angela for an evening too! I'll be sure to post some pictures from my trip soon.

I smell like an ANGEL

Yes it is true... I was at starbucks this morning and the cashier (tall, dark, and handsome) was like... "What's your poison?"I replied, "Tall dark roast with room please. He commented, "Are you wearing Angel?" I said, "Well, yes I am... Is it too strong?" He said, "no I love that fragrance! It is one of the only ones that I can smell over the coffee smell." Well, that just made my day and believe me it wasn't going so great. I was rushing around packing for my trip tomorrow and forgot my cell at home and realized when I parked to get my coffee. So I had to drive all the way home... pick it up... park again and you get the drift. Needless to say I still have time to post this before I start work so I wasn't too late. I think it will be a great day!
