This is Andrea... a great friend from Capernwray days. It is so sweet... she has made the move from Edmonton to Vancouver. It will be so fun to pick up and do crazy things with her again. So far we've gone for walks and visited each others places. This photo is at Deer Lake park near my place last Saturday. It was the first sunny day in a long while and we enjoyed the whole afternoon outside!
Christian took me to my first opera last week... La Boheme put on by the UBC Opera Ensemble and the UBC Symphony Orchestra. I loved it. I just absorbed all the sounds and sights of the evening. It was wonderful to get dressed up and experience something new. Christian's brother is in the Opera Program at UBC and it was so amazing to see him up on the stage too.
Yes... Valentines... Christian was out of town but we made up for it this weekend. I sent him to Toronto with cookies and he gave me these flowers. We spent Saturday at Granville Island and enjoyed a beautiful dinner and took in the view of the city from Cypress. We are in the beginning stages so it feels like valentines every time we are together.
