My Dad is pretty hip. This is a picture of us before the fireworks show down in English bay last summer. He likes cool tunes, dancing, gardening, talking with friends, my Mom and all us kids and grandkids. Today at Church Pastor Ken spoke a little blurb about how parents love their kids so much because they have invested so much in them from feeding and dressing, to teaching how to ride a bike, and drive a car. All along the way teaching and putting energy and resources into their child. That is what love is fueling yourself into someone else. Thanks for caring for me Dad and being a great listerner too along the way.

Your dad is hip. I like him more and more as I get to know him. We're a lucky bunch.
You know, they say you can't pick your parents. But with in-laws you get a bit of a choice. I don't think I could have done better (that goes for all of you).
